About Zere
An assistant that doesn’t need an app
We’re building Zere for companies where people work with their hands and their phones, not at a computer. For them the best interface is the one that’s already open: the messaging app.
Where the idea came from
They bought a tracker. Nobody opens it.
We’ve heard this story many times. A company buys a task tracker, the manager enters the tasks, and a month later the manager is the only one left in the system. Then they try an app of their own — and the same thing happens.
It’s not the people and it’s not the trackers. A shop assistant, a cook or a site foreman simply has no reason to open one more program. But they open their messaging app on their own, a hundred times a day.
We first built an assistant like this for one company: the director started assigning tasks by voice message, and they stopped getting lost. Zere is the same approach, turned into a product for everyone.
The name
Zere means “golden”
Zere is a Kazakh woman’s name. It was the name of the grandmother who raised the poet Abai: a wise woman who remembered everything and kept an eye on everything.
We thought it was a good name for an assistant who remembers who was asked to do what and doesn’t let it get lost. The site’s design has a golden thread running through it: in Kazakh, “zer” means gold embroidery.
How we work
Three rules
Nothing extra
If there’s something an employee can skip, they shouldn’t have to do it. No installs, no passwords, no training.
Honest about limits
We say plainly what Zere can’t do, what is still in progress and what risks the channels carry.
A person decides
Zere counts and reminds. Rules, bonuses and decisions about people stay with the manager.
Where we are now
A pilot with our first companies
Zere is a young product from Kazakhstan. Right now we’re onboarding our first companies by hand and refining tasks, reports and points together with them.
Next on the plan: expenses from a photo, approvals and clocking in at work. Pilot participants will tell us which to build first.
Let’s try it with your team
