Cafés & restaurants
The shift knows what to do. You know what got done.
Cooks and servers have no time for apps, and the manager has no time to call around. Zere takes tasks by voice and collects replies from the whole shift.
Typical tasks
What teams assign through Zere
Opening and closing
Check the equipment, the prep and the dining room, cash out the register. With a photo when you need one.
Purchasing
“We’re running out of milk” in the group chat becomes a task for the buyer, with a deadline.
Breakdowns
A photo of the broken fridge and one message — the technician has a task, and you can see whether it’s been accepted.
Cleaning and hygiene
Deep cleaning, sanitizing, expiry-date checks — on a schedule, each marked off when done.
Banquets and events
Who’s in charge of the room, who handles the menu, who handles the music. Each person gets their own task and deadline.
Shift cover
A request to cover a shift goes to the right person and doesn’t get lost among forty messages in the chat.
One day
What it looks like at work
In the morning the manager dictates three tasks on the way in. Zere passes them to the shift supervisors. By opening time the replies are in: “done,” with a photo.
In the afternoon someone writes in the shift chat that the syrups are running low. The supervisor says: “Zere, task for Timur: send the supplier an order by tomorrow.” In the evening the manager gets the report and sees that the order went out.
- Nobody installed an app or sat through training.
- Tasks don’t get lost at shift change: they’re written down and each has an assignee.
- You can see who closes tasks on time and who needs reminding.
What’s next
Coming next for cafés and restaurants
Expenses by photo soon
Snap a photo of the invoice and the expense is logged: what was bought, for how much, under which category.
Approvals soon
A pay advance, a day off, an urgent purchase: the request moves along the chain, and each person answers “yes” or “no.”
Clock-in and clock-out soon
An employee shares their location, and Zere notes that they’re on site.
Questions
What cafés ask
We have high staff turnover. How do we add new people?
A new employee saves Zere’s number and messages her. You confirm they’re on your team, and they can start getting tasks right away.
We have several locations. Can we keep them separate?
Yes. Each location has its own staff and its own group chats, and you get a report for each one plus a combined one.
Our cooks won’t type anything.
They don’t have to. Replying “done” or sending a voice message is enough — Zere will understand.
Try it with one shift
We’re onboarding our first cafés and restaurants. You can start with a single location.
