Comparison
Zere or Trello
Trello is a good board for people who work at a computer and move their own cards. Zere is for teams where nobody opens the tracker and tasks live in the messaging app.
Point by point
What’s the difference
| Trello | Zere | |
|---|---|---|
| Where a task is created | In the app or on the website: create a card, pick a list, assign a member | In WhatsApp or Telegram: one text or voice message |
| What an employee needs | An account, the app and the habit of opening it | To save a number and say “hi” |
| Tasks sent as voice messages | Someone has to listen and retype them into a card | Transcribed and turned into a task with a deadline |
| Deadline reminders | App notifications and emails | A message in the messaging app people open every hour |
| Deadline changes | Anyone with access to the card can change the due date | The assignee asks — the task’s author agrees or declines |
| Who hasn’t replied | You have to check the board and ask | The evening report names those who stayed silent |
| Boards, lists, project stages | Trello’s strength | No. Zere is about tasks and deadlines, not boards |
| Best for | Office teams doing project work | Teams that work with their hands and a phone |

Honestly
When to choose which
Choose Trello if…
…you do project work with stages, and your team sits at computers and keeps its own cards up to date. A board gives you a picture of the project that a chat thread can’t.
Choose Zere if…
…you’ve already tried a tracker and two people out of twenty opened it. If tasks are handed out by voice and in chat, and then you call around to find out what’s been done.
Together
You don’t have to choose
If the office already works in Trello but people in the field never open it, Zere can be their way in: tasks arrive in the messaging app, and the status goes back to the tracker.

Questions
Questions about the comparison
We already pay for Trello. Do we have to drop it?
No. Many teams keep the tracker for office projects and move tasks for people in the field into the messaging app.
Does Zere have a kanban board?
No. The manager has a list of all tasks with filters by person, deadline and priority, but there are no boards with columns.
